Walking With God by Brant Cole is 30-day devotional guide that walks you through the basics of what is looks like to live the Christian life. Young and old, new believer or mature Christian, this book will impact your relationship with God right where you are. Throughout the 30-day journey, Brant tackles topics such as the gospel message, identity in Christ, what qualities to look for in a good Church, how to properly study the Bible, how to meditate on Scripture, how to pray, fasting, hearing from God, repentance and more.

How It Impacted Me

I love reading books and resources targeted toward new Christians because it reminds me of the basics of my faith and refreshes my passion to walk with Jesus every day. Walking With God is not only geared toward new believers, but I so appreciate the way Brant walks us through those fundamental beliefs and practices of being a follower of Jesus. They are the building blocks of our faith as Christians and it’s so important to stay rooted in those truths and to know how to communicate them to others.

Why You Should Read It

Walking With God is one of the most in-depth and practical guides to Christian living I’ve ever read. Brant’s style is personal, engaging and easy to understand. He takes concepts of faith that could seem overwhelming and explains them in a simple way that you can grasp and implement into your life right away.

Wherever you are in your walk with Jesus, there are truths in Walking With God that will impact you and help you form habits that will empower to walk in close relationship with God everyday. that If you are still exploring faith and are curious about what following Jesus looks like in practice, Walking with God is great resource to help introduce some of those concepts to you. And, a very important aspect of this book, as I mentioned earlier, is that it will help you as a follower of Jesus know to how to communicate truths of our faith to others and how to disciple other believers. We are all called to be disciples of Jesus and to make disciples of Jesus. Walking With God is a great resource to help you do both.
