In this episode and (the previous one) I’m talking about my two favorite things–Jesus and music! We’re exploring the lyrics in of some of my favorite mainstream and Christian songs that deal with themes of faith in everyday life situations or spiritual questions that you might be asking. Together we’ll unpack the topics and questions brought up in the lyrics of these songs and look at how the Bible speaks to those themes. In Part 2 of this conversation we dive into “Dear God” by Hunter Hayes and “high water” by Tori Kelly to learn how to process emotions with God and be vulnerable with Him in prayer, and how God helps us make it through hard times in life.
