In this episode and (the next one) I’m talking about my two favorite things–Jesus and music! We’re exploring the lyrics in of some of my favorite mainstream and Christian songs that deal with themes of faith in everyday life situations or spiritual questions that you might be asking. Together we’ll unpack the topics and questions brought up in the lyrics of these songs and look at how the Bible speaks to those themes. In Part 1 of this conversation we focus on “7 Days” and “All We Know” by Alessia Cara, “The Architect” by Kacey Musgraves, and “Sinner’s Prayer” by Anne Wilson to learn why bad things happen in the world and what God plans to do about it, whether there is a God and how we can know Him, and how to pray a salvation prayer to become a follower of Jesus.
