About Me + Everyday Walk
Hey, I’m Jasmin! Nice to meet you! I’m an ordained minister and Bible teacher, digital content creator, singer-songwriter, and worship leader. My greatest passion in life is to know and love Jesus deeply and help others do the same. In fact, ever since I was a teenager all I’ve wanted to be is a singer and a minister, because I love music so much and I want God to use me to help people navigate their spiritual questions, come to faith in Jesus, and grow in their relationship with Him.
I was born into a Christian family and raised in New York City, and gave my life to Jesus at age 12. So, I’ve always carried a unique mix of passion for Jesus and the Church with a love for the arts and culture. When I was 15, God called me to ministry. I said yes to His call then, and by the grace of God, I have been volunteering or working vocationally in ministry in some capacity ever since.
My fascination with performing arts, the music industry, and a deep desire to minister through Christian music and media led me to attend college in New Haven, CT where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Industry. I was also heavily involved as a student leader in my college ministry serving in worship, prayer, discipleship, and preaching throughout my undergraduate years. Through that experience, my heart to invest in the spiritual growth of college students/young adults was forged and continues to this day. Now I live in Kansas City, MO, where I relocated in 2015 to work in full-time ministry.
In 2016, God invited me to start a blog and social media ministry called Living Authentic Christianity, and in 2024 I transitioned that blog to Everyday Walk, a podcast/YouTube channel and blog that provides practical teaching to guide and equip your everyday walk with Jesus. Each podcast episode clarifies biblical topics, answers your questions about the Christian life, and equips you to faithfully follow Jesus in everyday life. I also want to facilitate some fun and meaningful conversations at the intersection of arts, culture, and faith in this space as well.
In addition to running Everyday Walk, I get to serve the Christian music industry as a staff writer at NewReleaseToday, where I interview Christian artists and write editorial about Christian music. I was also a staff writer at Marked Ministry Magazine from 2020-2022, where I wrote about faith and culture. In my non-online life, I work in college ministry. I get to disciple and mentor the next generation, train them in practical ministry skills, teach the Bible, lead worship, pray for college campuses, and oversee community life for our college ministry staff team. My debut EP of original songs, All For You, released in June 2021 and is available now on all music streaming services.
In my down time, I love keeping up with all things music, entertainment, and pop culture, going to concerts, reading lots of books, and a good cup of tea. Whether you are pursuing Jesus as a Christian or exploring what faith in Jesus is about as spiritual seeker, I’m so excited and grateful to have you on this journey with me, and I pray He uses the resources you find here to draw you closer to Him!
